• Understand use cases and product/project requirements. Design, Develop, review (code/design), unit test, module test, integration test, documentation for SDLC/PDLC.
• Maintaining, enhancing, bug fixing code. Following standard documentation process laid down for the project.
• Support to cross functional departments for different project/projects module/modules based on priorities to deliver quality software in timely manner. Work on new tasks or multiple tasks depending on business requirements.
• Follow the Zycus defined SDLC/PDLC process and participate in improving the process. Work with cross functional team to achieve project delivery goal.
• Keep immediate supervisor updated about progress, issues, status, schedule, exceptions (both positive and negative), risks, problems etc.
• Create competitive edge in Zycus solution by coming out with innovation implementation ideas. Suggest, evaluate, do feasibility study of development and deployment technology.
• Ensuring all the work meets or exceeds predefined quality standards through exhaustive testing, peer reviews, SQA process standards.

Job Description

• Lead the Quality related activities within the project
• Develop a process as per the testing perspective of the project and in sync with CMM level KPAs, which would be a tailored one from the existing SDLC processes
• Conducting regular audits to track the project performance
• Monitoring project goals and tracking the same on a timely basis
• Timely collection of the Data and generating Metrics report for the project
• Review and Analysis of the Metrics reports along with the Team Leads and the Project Managers to seek for improvement areas within the project
• Optimizing the process to the fullest by ways of Automation of the various sectors related to the process
• Continuous Process optimization and improvement
• Reviewing of the test plans, estimations, scripts and the test execution reports
• Preparing various checklists for the project as per the project needs and updating the same on a regular basis
• Follow up the findings of Audit ( CM & SQA)
• Analyze improvement suggestions with the SEPG team and manage pilot of the same.
• Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, SQA Review of projects, resource utilization.
• Results of reviews and audits provided to senior management.

A: Product Architecture & Design

• Should be able to build or adopt the architecture/framework & design product from scratch by understanding the overall need & requirement from PMG.
• Has the ability to point out short comings in the design.
• Should be able to architect solution which is easily configurable, deployable and secure in SAAS environment.
• Should be able to keep suite integration in mind and design components according to the need

B: Product Release & Iteration Planning

• Responsible for planning & getting closures on iteration. He is responsible for delivery of iterations on time and with high quality
• Communicates and maintains visibility of the project with all stakeholders. Keeps all stakeholders informed on project status, risks and issues
• Creates an effective team structure ensuring role clarity and responsibility for each member. Coaches and mentors team members for performance and capability building
• Has the ability to anticipate technology risks and create mitigation plans.
• In case of emergency take charge of the situation, drives the team, coordinate with stakeholders, mitigating risks
• Should be able to optimisely & effectively manage resources, take hiring decisions
  

C: Product Development

• Has in-depth process knowledge and is able to customize Zycus processes to fit project needs.
• Has the ability to recommend new processes / alternatives to meet project / customer requirements and rolling them out the team.
• Reviews the overall system design & make sure efforts are correct

D: Product Quality Control

• Should do a postmortem of the iteration or whenever a problem or issue is encountered and put measure to put to prevent it in future
• Should be able to identify, track and mitigate RISK to product

E: Product Implementation & maintenance Support

• Should be able to identify & Put upfront processes so that issue resolution, deployment & maintenance in PCS becomes easy
• Should be able to take requirement from PCS regarding Security and SAAS related req and prioritize and put up in plan
• Domain & Technology Understanding
• Is aware of the tools available and relevant to his/her scope of work. Should be in look out for new tool or technology which increases productivity or meets non-functional requirements better
